As a theater enthusiast from an early age, I quickly became aware of the sad selection of wholesome plays available to families, schools, and theater groups when I was asked to direct a play for my own community.

After many hours of finger-cramping scrolling, blushing, and indignant exclamations at some of the suggested play scripts for youth, I desperately reached out to Focus on the Family to use their Adventure in Odyssey audio drama scripts for our stage production. What an amazing blessing to use dramas that the kids already love and have memorized, the content was trusted, and there are quality themes and material.

The only obstacle was adapting the audio dramas to stage plays - and that is where the Pilot Theater Project was born.
