This play is a richly layered Christmas or Easter play set in the warm, familiar world of Adventures in Odyssey and its characters. Following the journey of a single stuffed toy lamb — lost, donated, stolen, and launched on a rocket — the play weaves together a soldier, a ten-year-old learning to let go, a teenager discovering the sacrifices made for him, and a boy on a rescue mission. All stories ultimately point to understanding the gift of love and sacrifice.
With flexible casting, minimal set requirements, and built-in ensemble moments for carolers, singing, or non-speaking parts, it’s a production that works for almost any size, age, and experience level.
